Your Cosmic Guides: Spring 2026 Travel Horoscopes

As the season turns everyone needs a little cosmic insight into their lives and travels. Joseph Addeo (our RIES Resident Astrologer) brings us his insights for the spring time as guided by the stars.

Spring is always a time of birth and new beginnings but never more so than this year with the Saturn-Neptune conjunction ushering in the season at 0° Aries.  The winter was a purging of that which can no longer be achieved to make way for future projects.  The spring ingress chart has several harmonious travel aspects.  Jupiter in Cancer squares its dispositor, the Moon in Aries, suggesting breaking free from the four walls of home.  It also squares Venus adding a strong social element along with overspending.  Lastly, Jupiter trines Mars in Pisces providing wonderful opportunities to activate dream vacations.  Mercury stations direct in Pisces in the ingress chart.  It is wise to make travel plans slowly and methodically.  Don’t let the details slip by the wayside.   

 

ARIES: 

Ambition runs high for the sign of the ram.  There are six planets in your sign for most of April and if that doesn’t light a fire under you then nothing will.  Best travel dates are April 9-13, May 1-6.  A close friendship goes through an intensification process around May 8.  How will it transform? An unexpected short weekend trip pops up around April 26.  It is a good time to buy a new car or trade in the old one.  Money becomes an object of conflict with friends and lovers on May 19.  You also may be asked to pay a large credit card bill at the end of May for expenditures made in April.   

 

TAURUS: 

Spring starts with Taurus feeling especially beautiful courtesy of Venus in your sign from April 1-24.  A sweet disposition dominates your personality and then suddenly shifts on April 24 as Venus starts its conjunction to Uranus.  It is a swift Jekyll/Hyde personality shift.  The end of April is perfect for a sudden, unexpected last-minute trip.  Be spontaneous.  May 19 through June 10 is perfect for long-distance travel.   Mars provides action to get up and leave when it enters Taurus on May 19, the same day that Venus in Cancer and starts moving towards its conjunction with Jupiter which perfects on June 10.  

 

GEMINI: 

April 1-7 are excellent long distance travel dates.  There are unforeseen, out of the blue trips when Uranus enters Gemini along with Venus from April 23 through the Full Moon of May 1.  Remain flexible as plans change more than once.  Thinking is brilliant, articulate and clear with flashes of inspiration on May 14 so tune in with your mind and your heart.  Bursts of inspiration erupt once again on May 17.  The entire weekend of May 15-18 is excellent for travel.  As we enter the Gemini time of year on May 20th continue to think outside the box and show off your rebellious and independent nature.   

 

CANCER: 

Jupiter remains in Cancer for the remainder of spring making its influence felt with one last blast of traveling far from home base.  It will be another twelve years before Jupiter bestows its blessing on Moonchildren so take full advantage of its beneficence.  Great travel dates will be when the Moon is in Cancer on March 25-27, April 21-23 and May 18-20.  The May 18-20 period is especially powerful because Venus enters Cancer at the same time.  Try to plan a lovely trip when she enters Cancer on May 18 and especially as she pushes towards her conjunction leading up to June 9.   

 

LEO: 

While the Sun remains in Aries through April 19, along with a slew of other planets, foreign travel is emphasized for both business and pleasure.  Pleasure rules from March 20-23, work takes over March 23-26, pleasure returns from April 10-13 and then back to work April 15-20.  Travel takes on a healing energy on the new moon of April 17.  The new moon of May 16 starts a two-week period where overseas travel is full of luxuriant bonding with family and friends.  Some Lions may want to use this energy for making extra money at work and delay travel for when Jupiter enters Leo on July 1.  The choice is yours.  

 

VIRGO: 

Mercury aligns beautifully with Jupiter on April 3rd, enhancing any travel plans.  Venus in Taurus from April 1 -25 is pleasurable time for foreign travel.  May 10-20 is also optimum for travel.  When Mercury conjuncts the Sun in Taurus on May 14 there will be a burst of creative thinking, planning and strategizing.  Show off your skills. When Mars enters Taurus on May 18 you may act based on those creative plans.  The full moon in Sagittarius on May 31 sparks wanderlust and an urge to leave your personal four walls.   

 

 

LIBRA: 

Last summer you may have explored foreign shores in anticipation of a possible relocation.  That relocation can manifest as Uranus enters Gemini and enters your 9th house on April 26 where he will remain for eight years.  Venus joins Uranus on the same day so even for those not planning on a long-distance relocation this would be a wonderful time to travel abroad.  The Libra Full Moon of April 1 puts the spotlight on you so make sure to look your best!  Partners have been hogging all the oxygen lately so use this lunation to take focus back.  Venus enters Cancer on May 19 where she will be co present with Jupiter through June 13.  Use that beautiful energy to travel with family or to see family that live far away.   

 

SCORPIO: 

The remainder of March is a good time to indulge in romantic interludes with a special someone or experiment in the dating scene.  As April swings around there is a reversal of energy and Scorpions leave the play pen for the workplace.  The passion is strong to launch new work projects.  There is a tremendous amount of focus on office details, protocol and procedures.  Organizational skills are powerful so dig deep.  You may take a break from office drudgery around May 4 when Mars squares Jupiter.  Go hog wild and release some of the built-up office tension by taking a trip to get away from it all.  Mid-June is also good for a blow out weekend.   

 

SAGITTARIUS: 

Jupiter remains in Cancer for spring 2026.  Use this period as a psychological summing up of the past year.  Acknowledge the growth and process of the transformations you have made to all your most important relationships.  When Jupiter enters Leo in July celebrate in a big way by planning a trip to the other side of the world.  Start making those plans now.  Romance takes a serious turn on April 5 – 9 which may involve some travel.  The Sagittarius full moon of May 31 has the energy of feeling like it is your birthday.  Bask in the glow of others’ affections.  Lover blossoms on June 8 and 9.   

 

CAPRICORN: 

The Saturn-Neptune conjunction that profected on February 17 will make its effects known strongly to this sign all year long.  The potential is strong to manifest dreams through hard work and a fresh new focus.  This sign, more than others, may prefer taking care of home, family and laying down new roots and foundations.  The Sagittarius full moon on May 31 initiates a couple of weeks where, if the travel bug bites, would be a good time to escape from the daily grind of everyday life.  Spend some time by the ocean, in the mountains or a hideaway where no one can find you for a couple of days.  

 

AQUARIUS: 

If the Saturn-Neptune conjunction in your third house has brought a new car into your life, take advantage of it this spring with weekend trips to the countryside.  Car travel can bring healing energy especially around April 17.  If a car isn’t in the cards, then train travel satisfies this energy well.  The Libra full moon of April 2 stimulates the long-distance travel sector of your chart.  Your personality intensifies surrounding the days of the Pluto station retrograde of May 6.  Like a magnet others will be attracted to your powers while others may be repelled by it.  Use this energy wisely to influence important situations.   

 

PISCES: 

Jupiter travels in your 5th house till the end of June providing opportunities to explore romance, dating, entertainment, sports and pleasures of all sorts.  If you like risk taking the siren song may be calling.  The Saturn-Neptune conjunction in the 2nd house of money should curb any wild overspending tendencies.  Lucky days for Pisces: March 22, April 2, 3, 5, 12, 26. When the moon passes through Cancer be aware of having more fun and doing things that enhance the joy of life.  The Moon will be in Cancer: March 25-27, April 21-23, May 18-20, June 15-17.
